Learning through action at sdfar gives everyone an opportunity to connect with horses pigs chickens and other animals in a unique hands on experience. We survive solely through donations and membership fees.

Wildlife assist volunteers wav is a group of people dedicated to the search and rescue of wildlife in trouble and to the prevention of wildlife problems both for animals and for humans. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to handle animals. Volunteers at least 14 16 years of age can help with cleaning kennels doing laundry and washing dishes only. Is all volunteer non profit 501 c 3 organization which consists of a group of dedicated people who donate their time resources skills and energy toward the battle against the overpopulation of homeless pets and improving the lives of companion animals through rescue fostering programs adoption pet care educational programs and of course spaying and neutering.
